Workings and Pricing
Painting a portrait in oils can be a long process with many sessions to achieve a nicely finished painting.
A nice size for a portrait is 16"x 20", large enough to make a great impression whilst fitting into most homes comfortably.
Please supply me with a few reference photos, highlighting the preferred option. Ideally the photo should be clear with a good variety of light and shade. I can combine photos or change surrounding features, any special requests, try me!
The finished painting will be delivered gloss varnished and I can ship abroad. Please bare in mind that shipping costs will be extra.
The prices are a guide only, please contact me with reference photos for a more accurate quote. Much depends on the number of figures in the painting and most particularly the complexity of the image. I can talk it through with you and give an idea on a time frame which largely depends on other orders in the book at the time.
